Flims-Laax-Falera has been named ‘Switzerland’s Best Ski Resort’ for five consecutive years and is one of the country’s largest. 70% of its runs are above 2000 meters, so it’s a reliable location for year-round snow and a sunny orientation.

You’ll find a fantastic variety of slopes suitable for all abilities, from beginners and those seeking a tranquil exploration of the Swiss terrain to more adventurous adrenaline seekers.

Laax have 214 kilometers of slopes, 5 snow parks and 28 ski lifts.

Catch one of 28 ski lifts all the way up to Vorab glacier and ski the 14km route down to the Chalet.

Laax is ideal for freeriding snowboarders and is home to Europe’s most giant half pipe.

SUMMER

Lake Caumasee should be top of your list for an unforgettable day trip. This natural lake has glorious blue waters and is perfect for swimmers and paddleboarders. If you prefer to stay on dry land, the shore is an excellent spot for sunbathing or beach volleyball.

 

Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, you’ll love exploring 330km of scenic hiking and mountain biking routes. Cross-country trails pass through natural gorges, crystal-clear streams and forests. Trek to the UNESCO World Heritage tectonic arena, Sardona, which peaks at more than 3000 metres above sea level or discover the incredible Rhine Gorge during a hike or bike trip.

 

For a more chilled day out, try paragliding, 18-hole golf or a visit to Beverin Nature Park to see the wild ibexes.

ACCOMMODATION

The chalet in Flims Laax is ideal for those seeking a memorable, deluxe holiday. At 360 sq. meters, there’s plenty of room for up to 10 guests, with five spacious bedrooms; two lavish suites and three double/twin rooms. Wake up to picturesque mountain views from your bed and watch the sunrise from your private balcony.

 

The spacious kitchen has fantastic landscape views and a large dining table to enjoy family meals. After a chilly day in the mountains, snuggle up around the fire in the grand reception room or toast marshmallows around the outdoor fire pit.

 

Children are welcome and will be entertained by the cinema room and games room. There’s also a private gym, wellness room, wine cellar, and a boot room inside the chalet. In summer, you’ll have exclusive access to an outdoor heated swimming pool with sun loungers and a jacuzzi.

The Kitchen

 

When you’re not dining out at the resort’s many restaurants, the modern kitchen is equipped with premium appliances and everything you need to cook. Raclette and Fondue sets are provided so you can experience an authentic taste of Switzerland’s opulent cuisine while you admire the alpine view.

 

The Reception Room

Relax in the large open plan reception room as you take in stunning landscape views from the 3.5 meter high windows. You’ll love cosy evenings in, playing board games as the log fire crackles away.

 

The Bedrooms

All bedroom are individually designed to the highest standard. The two large suites are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor and both have private balconies with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You’ll also find three double/twin bedrooms.

 

The Wellness Room

A luxury mountain retreat wouldn’t be complete without a freestanding bath to soak your muscles at the end of a day on the slopes. When you need to wind down, relax in the sauna followed by a cold shower.

 

The Cinema Room

The contemporary home cinema room has a high quality sound system with Netflix and Apple TV, plus a range of German and English television channels. Perfect for down time or keeping your children busy.

 

The Games Room

If you have children or you’re a big kid yourself, the games room will be very popular. As well as traditional board games and books for younger children, you’ll love the table football and video game consoles and Virtual Reality headset.

 

The Wine Cellar/Gin Bar

The most extravagant room in the chalet is the incredible wine cellar/gin bar, which includes complimentary local gin for you to try. This secluded little spot makes a sophisticated venue for aperitifs or post-dinner cocktails with your loved one or friends.

 

The Boot Room

There’s space to store your skis and snowboards out of the way in the boot room. We also provide plush boot heaters to warm up your ski boots and gloves before you head out into the snow.

 

The Outdoor Seating Area

 

You’ll love spending evenings on the terrace, where you can stargaze on clear nights. Take a seat around the fire pit as you toast marshmallows and sip a warming Swiss hot chocolate.

 

The Outdoor Heated Pool and Jacuzzi

If you visit during summer, you’ll have private access to our luxurious heated outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The perfect spot to cool down and soothe your muscles after a long hike or bike ride.

 

The Fitness Room

If you’re not too exhausted from skiing, keep up with your gym routine in the fitness room. Inside, you’ll find weights, a spinning bike and rowing machine. Yoga mats are also provided so you can unwind and stretch out any tension.

 

Ski In

Home isn’t far away, so after a long day you can ski right back to the chalet to drop off your equipment. The slopes are just a 7 minute walk from the chalet. There’s also a handy ski bus which stops directly outside and takes only 5 minutes to reach the main gondola.
