In the very heart of the enchanting town of Positano, only a two-minute walk from the beach, Villa Cupola La Grande is a truly magical place. Every room has a fantastic view of the sea, the Galli islands, and of the famous ancient church ‘Cupola’. (Please, note that Positano has lots of hills and steps).
VILLA ACCOMODATION
The terrace leading to the villa, is decorated with hand-painted floor tiles, laid out for meals ‘al fresco’ and for sunbathing, all with spectacular views of the sea, and of the village nestled in the rocky hills opposite. The villa’s interior is elegantly furnished. The bright living areas have vaulted ceilings and beautiful large wrought-iron windows leading directly onto the terrace. The well-organized and well-equipped kitchen leads directly to the dining room and terrace. The rooms on the first floor have a spectacular sea view, two of which have small ornate balconies adorned with bougainvillea, framing one of the most unforgettable parts of the Amalfi coast.
Ground floor. Equipped kitchen, office room, dining room with table which seats 10 and fireplace, sitting room connected to a TV room with library and mini bar, 1 small room with double bed and en suite shower room (no window).
First floor. Very narrow staircases and corridor leading to the first floor. 1 twin bedroom (convertible into double) with fireplace with en suite small shower room and with mall terrace with coffee table and chairs, sea view. 1 twin bedroom (convertible into double) with en suite shower room, 1 master bedroom with en suite shower room, safe and small area with sofa, sea view.
Additional bedroom: 1 small double bedroom with en suite small shower room, sea and Positano view.
Notes: we recommend avoiding renting a car, as car parks at Positano are very expensive. The coast can be visited by taxi or by bus. No pets allowed; the house can be rented without the additional bedroom. The washing machine can only be used by the maid. Upon request it is possible to organize tours, transfers to / from the villa / Naples airport, tours by boat, concerts at Ravello, archaeological tours to Pompei and Ercolano, and much more.
Distances: Sorrento 10km/6miles, Naples 55km/34miles, Amalfi 7 km / 4 miles. Airports in Naples 65 km / 40miles, in Rome 295 km / 183 miles. Car park 2 min. walk (payable), restaurants shops a few min walk, supermarkets a few min walk, Positano beach 2 min walk.
