Villa is a luxurious villa built sheer above the sea. It sleeps eight people. From Villa Li Galli you will enjoy a splendid view of the sea and of Positano. Villa is 130 square meters (1400 square feet).
It features a private swimming pool, direct access to the beach and to the sea, two panoramic private terraces, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
LOCATION
You will be roughly 1.3 km (0.8 miles) from Positano, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port.
You will find the closest restaurant at 100 meters (330 feet), the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi – Sorrento line at 150 meters (490 feet) and the closest beach directly below you (you will reach it using an elevator). You will reach Villa using an elevator and then along a walkway that cuts through a garden and includes approximately 20 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at the Villa. If you do have one, you will be able to park it nearby, for a fee, in a private parking lot.
Villa is constructed on the edge of a stretch of rocky coastline directly above the sea. It is set in the midst of the lush greenery of Mediterranean vegetation, between the indigo sea and the azure sky.
When you step onto its balconies and its terrace, you will see stretched out before you nothing but the sun, the sky and the sea. To the horizon on your right, looking out over the sea, you can trace the “M”-shaped outline of the islands known as “Li Galli”, and, to the left, the magnificent scenery of a stretch of coastline that is among the most fascinating areas of the Amalfi Coast.
On this side, the coast is made up of small promontories, on which small clusters of white houses are scattered, interspersed with enchanting inlets and small beaches, in a half-moon shape carved out of the richly-verdant coastline.
The sunset and the evening that follows hold still more fascinating moments in store for you. From the terraces of Villa, when evening falls, you will see the moon rise, enormous at first as it peers above the coastline, then becoming smaller and brighter as it climbs higher in the sky and reflects on the sea. By this time, the coast and the sea are full of twinkling lights.
When the moon is full, the spectacle is incomparable — and you can enjoy it from your discreetly-illuminated terrace while dining under the stars.
Villa is one of the holiday homes available in a small complex. The complex is made up of vacation villas that fan along the back of a cape that overhangs the sea. The complex extends across a few acres of coastline, and is situated at one of the most panoramic and strikingly beautiful points of the coast.
Slightly above the complex, is the level of the coast road, and from here down to the sea there is a slope of about 200 meters (650 feet). Looking down from the road, you can see gardens set out on irregular terraces that hug the shape of the coastline, and then, further down towards the sea, the full luxury of the Mediterranean flowers and greenery. In the midst of these gardens, you can see here and there the terracotta-paved terraces of the villas with their sun-lounging beds and their urns overflowing with red bougainvillea.
The buildings are well hidden among the greenery, and all that can be seen either from above or from the sea are the terraces. The complex is made up of a number of vacation villas, each one completely independent of the others and hidden in the greenery. Access to this entire area is reserved to the guests of the villas.
The complex has various communal services available, in particular a elevator that will bring you from the coast road and set you down just a few meters from the houses, and an elevator which will carry you between the different villas and the beach. The beach is private and shared with the other guests of the complex, and there you’ll find a reserved area exclusively for you.
DIRECT ACCESS TO THE SEA
From the property you will have a direct access to the sea and to a beach, partly gravel and partly rocky. You will reach it by way of an elevator. The area is equipped with sun umbrellas, sun loungers and a gazebo. The access to the sea is shared with the other guests staying at the complex. The facilities are available from the beginning of May until the beginning of October.
SWIMMING POOL
You will reach the swimming pool from the terrace going up a stairway which consists of approximately six steps. The pool is 2.5 meters (8 feet) large by 8 meters (26 feet) long, from 1 meter (3.3 feet) to 1.8 meters (6 feet) deep. It can be heated if requested (please enquire with our staff) and has a cervical hydromassage shower. The area is equipped with an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of the coastline. The pool is open from the beginning of May until mid-October.
ACCOMMODATION
Terrace 1
The first terrace is 120 square meters (1290 square feet) large. You will reach it from Villa going down a stairway which consists of approximately six steps. It is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, deck chairs, sun loungers and a swing. From the terrace you will enjoy a broad view of the sea and of the small Li Galli islands.
Terrace 2
The second terrace is 55 square meters (590 square feet) large. The terrace is equipped with sofas, as well as with tables, chairs and a sun umbrella. From the terrace you will enjoy a charming view of the sea and of Positano.
LIVING ROOM
The furnishings of the living room are elegant and bright. The furnishings include sofas and armchairs. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!).
The dining table can accommodate eight guests. In this room you will find a large flat-screen satellite television (local channels), a DVD player and a CD player. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
